Why Lolah?

There is nothing quite like watching a child totally engaged in their learning.

They chose it, they are doing it... they are enthralled.

They LOVE what they are learning.

Now, looking at a snapshot of many early education classrooms, are the kids engaged? Are they learning hands on? Are they free to express themselves? I hope so! But unfortunately for many little learners, they are being expected to sit in a colourful square, recite whatever is told to them, be interested in whatever the theme may be. Be told when they can eat, play and talk...

I created Lolah because my teaching soul was not fulfilled just being a substitute teacher.

I created Lolah because my son was struggling and hating

the rigid structure of his kindergarten.

I created Lolah so I could help the love of learning blossom in a child instead of being stifled.

My home is bright, warm and inviting, and filled with many Reggio inspired learning spaces, with me as a supportive learning guide. We are ready and waiting for little learners to join us!
